04-20-2008: 2008 NSRS Summer Series... Starting May 2nd the Summer Cup Series will start back up and on May 4th the Truck Series will get back in gear. On April 22nd, we will be starting our first ARCA Sim Racing Series. This will be a test series for everyone to get used to the sim. Once the mini series is over and the patch is released, look for NSRS to get more involved in ASR. Check the forums for more information on each series and driver numbers that are open on a series by series basis.
12-30-2007: 2008 Winter Cup and Aero Series... Starting Jan 13th the Winter Aero 88 Series will start back up. All tracks for the Aero series are 1 mile or bigger On Jan 11th, we will be starting a Winter Cup Schedule with 12 races. Check the forums for more info on both series. On the RFactor side, we have been very busy with a Demo release of the Kentucky Sreet Stock Mod. Soon the full version of the F1 Stockcar mod by UKSOM will be released. 7-25-2007: Whats new with NSRS... Long time since a front page update...so here goes... AOI 2k3 Truck Series has a few races left before we regroup and start the 2nd half of the season. Its not to late to sign up, and join in the fun. RF we are working on a new series, trying to decided on what to run. ASTG side, we have released Foxhall, and a UK F1 Stockcar Beta with the group UKSOM. All RF tracks and mods can be found at RFC. Our forum has been locked for some time now, we are having some security issues that I am waiting to get cleared up. Once that is fixed, it will be open for new members.
12-28-2006: Where do we start with the updates?!?! Not only did we get a new site this year, but we started a new series, Aussi v8 series for rfactor. To top that off, ASTG helped out with iowa speedway day and night, and released Montgomery speedway. On the RFactor side, astg released sexbierum, a field track in holland. soon to follow will be a couple drag strips. All the tracks can be found in the forums here at NSRS!
10-31-2006: The revival is on AT NSRS Yes, thats right. AERO 88 LIVES!!!! We'll be running it over the winter. Everyone's number is reserved from the last aero88 season earlier in the year unless you would like it changed. Same format as before. 40% race length, yellows, realistic damage, x2 pits, etc, etc. Schedule and series start date will be released in the near future. Stay tuned for more information.
8-1-2006: ASTG plants a tree, well two to be exact! Did you know Hickory trees have nuts? Well its takes nuts to drive Hickory Motor Speedway! The birthplace of NASCAR! 3-9-2006: ASTG goes BIG! For the first time ever, we went BIG! ASTG released a track over a mile! Yes thats right over a mile! Atlanta 1970, but to offset that, we still released a short track, Mansfield Motorsports Park 2006 day and night, ENJOY! 2-28-2006: ASTG goes back to the future again! We needed a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 jigawatts of electricity to go back to 1970. ASTG succeeded and gives you, International Raceway Park 1970 day/night, and Savannah Speedway 1970.
