Here it is!!! Our very first 1970 track release. This is a real historical track located in Hampton, VA. It's a .395 mile oval banked 4 degrees in the corners. There were two NASCAR events ran here in 1970. Enjoy!!!

Download it here-------> http://www.dei-racing.com/tracks/70sTracks/langley_1970.zip

A modern version was announced over at Justin's Speedway Creations http://www.speedwaycreations.com. However, the last time I heard he said it wasn't going to be released any time soon at all.

I have a version that is suppose to be modern, but it's just updated to have the n3 objects and graphics... it doesn't have the cool looking nasa wind tunnel or non-blurry billboards, no 3d people in the stands...

Omod and his group had kinda made the 70s version off my converted version and had it done before I got around to finishing mine... so I just was working on my other projects since the person who originally requested me to do a langley was happy with what he had at a point.. cause it would kinda be stupid i think of me to release mine with a flat painted object of a wind tunnel and blurry billboards... plus... I understand that the track is closed now so...

The track isn't closed. I live a mile away from the track, and a couple of hours ago I had my window open and could hear the cars practicing for Saturday's race LOL. It would be nice to get a modern version of the track. I'm in the Navy and my original home track is Orange County, but I was blown away when I got stationed in Norfolk and went to Langley. There are tons more people at the race track, and they get the crowd more involved in the nights events than Orange County and South Boston ever did.
